I’m making this post mainly because I get a lot of messages from people who think that the warlord dismantling trick has been fixed because the same trick doesn’t work for massacre equipment, even though I literally said in the warlord post that this won’t work on the massacre set. So, in this post, I’m gonna be talking about the differences between the Massacre & The Warlord Tricks. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:
The Goal of both of these tricks is to get the special gems that you need to make these sets. Since, you can then use the special gems along with regular gems & blueprints to make different pieces of the same set.
In case of the Massacre Set, you can get the special gems simply by buying the regular massacre packs directly. You don’t need to dismantle massacre equipment to get them, that’s why the trick works. In fact when you dismantle massacre, you only get back regular gems i.e. you don’t get back any obsidian. I’m not really sure why they did this but I’m guessing it is to make players think that they’ll never be able to get special gems for the dominant, warlord & supreme sets by dismantling equipment since you don’t get them for massacre. In fact, this is the reason why it took me 3 months to realize that higher level sets can be dismantled to get back special gems. If massacre gave special gems, then I would’ve made the warlord post within a week of making the massacre post.
Unfortunately, for sets like dominant, warlord, supreme & ultimate, you can’t get their special gems directly from packs. The only way to get them for the dominant, warlord & supreme set is to dismantle the equipment. For the ultimate set, dismantling isn’t allowed in the game so it’s impossible to get it’s special gems.
Once you get the special gems for dominant & warlord the remaining steps are the same as making the massacre set. You make 6 pieces & then synthesize with regular equipment. For the supreme set, the steps are slightly different because there is not level 42 equipment that you can synthesize it with in the game. So, next time if you think dismantling warlord doesn’t work. Make sure you’re trying it with warlord equipment and not massacre equipment.
