The Odyssey Phase – Gold Rush Event – Mafia City

In this post, I’m gonna be explaining how the 3rd phase of the gold rush event works. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:

The Odyssey Phase is pretty straightforward. All you need to do, is you need to Raid innocents convoys on the map to get points. Each convoy that you destroy will give you 100 points.

You can get milestone rewards for scoring upto 10,000 points which gives you 150 more renegade fragments. If you were able to get 150 fragments from the 2nd Phase, then you should be able to unlock a new renegade by scoring 10,000 points during this phase.

Unlocking a new renegade will allow you to upgrade their first skill & it’ll also give you 10 points that you can allocate however you want.

The Odyssey Event also has personal and city ranking rewards as usual which look similar to the previous 2 phases.

Unlike other events, there no maximum cap on the number of raids you can do in this event. So, you can raid as much as you want. Each raid costs 10 energy, however, the rewards are pretty bad. So, in my opinion, you should only do 100 raids to get the 150 renegade fragments from the milestone rewards.

So, that’s how the odyssey phase works.

They’ve also added a new ‘Season Mastery’ option to the council hall will says coming soon.

And you can also now view renegades through the family club.

They’ve also finally added skill descriptions for all the 5 Renegades in English. So, we can finally see what their skills do. You can find their skill descriptions in towards the end of the video above.
