In this post, I’m gonna be giving you my thoughts on the land of the infamous event since a lot of people have been asking about it. So, let’s get started.
Judging by the rules, it seems like the Land of the Infamous Event is gonna be a mix of Las Vegas, Conqueror’s Path & the Bank Takeover Scheme Event.
Basically, there are 4 stages similar to Las Vegas.
The Warm-Up Stage that lasts for 7 days, the Battle Prep Stage that lasts for 2 days, the Battle Stage that lasts for 4 days, however, similar to Conqueror’s Path, if your Shady Town gets occupied during this stage, then it’ll end early for you. Finally, the last stage is the Peace stage which will start once the Battle Stage ends & will last anywhere between 1 to 3 days depending upon how quickly your Shady Town gets occupied.
The Warm-Up Stage will happen inside your own city & is further divided into 3 phases.
There’s the Expedition Phase where you’ll be able to attack special Street Forces called Lurkers & collect Map Pieces doing so.
There’s the Total War Phase where you’re required to Train Crew Members
& finally there’s the Hidden Talents Phase where you’ll need to participate in Raids to eliminate Suburbs. Somewhat similar to raiding cops in vegas.
Once the Warm Up Stage ends, the Battle Prep Stage begins which will take place on a separate Map just like the Las Vegas Event. Only leaders that have Level 16 or higher Mansions will be able to join this map. The first time you join this map, you won’t need any items. However, you’ll have to spend 1 Advanced Teleport every time you join after that.
During this stage, you’ll be able to do 3 tasks, you’ll be able to gather resources, you’ll be able to attack lurkers & you’ll be able to raid suburbs. There are different rewards for each of the 3 tasks & doing those tasks will give you and you Clan Skimmed Funds which you need to collect to build operation bases on the map.
Once you build an operation base, your clan will get resource benefits every few hours like you do for building trust centers in the Bank Takeover event & all turfs that are within the 7×7 area around the Operation Base will be protected from enemy attacks. Operation Bases also need to be connected to each other just like trust centers need to be connected in the Bank Takeover event.
The faster your clan collects Skimmed Funds, the faster it’ll be able to build Operation Bases & expand on the map. So make sure everyone from your clan is either gathering resources, attacking Lurkers or Raiding Suburbs as those 3 actions give you more skimmed funds.
Finally after the 2 day Battle Prep Stage, the Battle Stage begins which can last all the way upto 4 days.
There are 2 phases to this stage.
There’s the Shady Nightclub Battle stage which starts immediately when the Battle Stage Begins (i.e. on the 3rd Day of the 2nd week of this event)
During this stage, there will be 16 level 1 Security Bases that will be connected to the central area that are adjacent to the teleportation areas of 2 cities. The 2 cities will have to compete for these buildings to use them. However, the buildings can only be attacked if an Operation Base’s jurisdiction area is adjacent to a level 1 Security Base & Shady Nightclub.
The first time your city occupies a Shady Nightclub or a level 1 Security Base, every leader from your city who is within the battlefield will get an occupation reward & will also get to share the buff of the Nightclub or Security Base. If your city occupies more than 1 Shady Nightclub, the buffs that you get from them will be stacked.
The 2nd phase of the Battle Stage is the Shady Township Battle phase which starts after the nightclub battle ends & lasts for 2 days. There will be a shady township in the middle of the battle ground along with 4 Level 2 Security Bases & 4 Shady Arsenals around it. The Shady Arsenals are similar to the turrets around the mayor hall while the Level 2 Security Bases are new buildings that need to be occupied in order to gain access to the Shady Township.
In order for you to be able to participate in the Shady Township battle, the jurisdiction area of your Operations Bases should be adjacent to the black area. I’m guessing they’re talking about the area within the square made by the 4 Shady Arsenals when they talk about the black area.
Once you Occupy a Level 2 Security Base, you’ll get a ticket to be able to Occupy the Shady Township. However, while occupying the township, you need to defend your Security Base as well.
Once you’ve Controlled the Shady Township for a total of 4 hours continuously, it’ll be occupied. However, if no one succeeds in occupying it for 4 hours, it’ll be unaffiliated with any city.
When the battle ends, the city that has occupied the Shady Township will get an Occupation Reward along with extra buffs.
Finally, once the Battle Stage ends, the Peace Stage begins. Players will be able to continue gathering resources, attacking lurkers & raiding suburbs during this Stage.
