Today, we’re gonna talk about the changes that are gonna be made in the next major update of Warpath. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:
The first major change is going to be the quadrupling of the Barracks Capacity, Training Speed & also reserve recovery speed. All of these are gonna be increased to 4 times of the current values. The training cost per unit will also go down to a quarter of the current cost.
What all of this means is that there are gonna be much more fast paced battles because of the increased training speeds. And, your troops are also going to do a lot more damage.
It also means that players will lose reserves much faster in battle. And since the maximum amount of reserves is not gonna go up to 4 times the current amount, players will actually start running out of reserves more often from now on.
I’ve played this game for over 5 months now & there hasn’t been a single time I’ve ran out of all my reserves, so this new update is definitely gonna be interesting.
To be precise, the barracks capacity isn’t going up to 4 times the current capacity. It’s actually going up from 24 to 102 which is 4.25 times.
Another Major Change is that the base durability has gone up by around 2-3.5 times & the base firepower has gone up by 2-3 times depending on the level of your command center.
This is obviously done since players will now be able to do 4 times their damage because of having 4 times the troops.
Now, obviously, since all units can not fit on the map, each unit that you see on the map will actually represent multiple units & the number of units that it represents will be shown at the bottom of the unit.
Another change that’s gonna be made is that they’re gonna re-introduce army power that will be shown at the top of your units. That’s obviously gonna be very useful as it’ll help you figure out which battles you wanna fight & which ones you don’t, since currently it’s very difficult to tell which units are stronger than others on the battlefield. This feature, however, will be optional, so, you’ll be able to select whether you want to display unit power over your units or not.
So, those we’re pretty much all the major changes that you’re going to see in Warpath 2.0
