In this post, I’m gonna be showing you how you can make level 20 vigilante sets for just $100. In fact, you can make upto 5 sets per pack you buy if you use your special gems sparingly. I have made the extremist set myself using this method. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:
The first thing you wanna do is you want to buy a Harley or Extremist Set pack that gives you special gems for $100. It should give you 20 blueprints & 30 special gems (Tanzanite / Nephrite / Jelly Opal). DO NOT BUY THE SET VOUCHER PACKS THAT GIVE YOU VOUCHERS INSTEAD OF GEMS (Those usually show up during the buy 2 get 1 free event. However, it’s impossible to make multiple pieces of equipment if you don’t have those special gems, so avoid those packs).
Once you’ve bought a $100 pack. You can use 1 blueprint & 1 special gem along with grey gems to make a grey piece. You only need 6 special gems to make a full grey set. So, since you’re getting 30 grey gems, you can make upto 5 sets from just 1 pack.
Once you have your grey equipment ready, you can start building level 20 developing set equipment to synthesize your grey equipment up to higher qualities.
Keep in mind that you can only synthesize vigilante equipment with other vigilante equipment. So don’t try synthesizing it with Regular level 20 leader equipment as that won’t work.
Also, once you make a piece of equipment from the developing, you need to make sure that it’s unlocked, otherwise you won’t be able to use it as synthesizing material to upgrade your extremist / harley / dead eye sets.
I’d recommend upgrading all 18 pieces of the set together so you can retain set buffs. However, you can also try gambling with higher quality gems to try to get higher quality equipment while making these vigilante sets. If you’re doing that, you should probably not worry too much about the set buffs.
Also, keep in mind that this technique won’t apply to level 25 or higher level vigilante equipment since you need golden quality equipment of lower levels to make them. So you can only use it on the level 20 sets.

I don’t fully understand how/why certain equipment is locked. Can you explain? I would like to synthesize some of my vigilante equipment, but most can’t be used because it is locked. Can I unlock it?
Yeah. You can unlock it at the pawnbroker by clicking on the equipment & then selecting the lock symbol. They’re locked to protect you from synthesizing / dismantling by mistake
I bought 2 of buy 2 get 1 free… any advice in how to make the set still. I got 2 full golden pieces
You need to buy regular packs that give you the required stones, not packs from the buy 2 get 1 free event. However, if you want, you can dismantle the piece that you got from that event to get the gems required to make multiple pieces. (This will only work with level 20 sets & I’m not really sure how many special stones you’ll get from it. The game should tell you though before you dismantle)
