In this post, I’m gonna show you a trick that you can use to get the most rewards out of the Hyperdrive Speed Up Event by burning off some useless speed ups. One of the ways of doing it is by using your building speed ups to repeatedly upgrade & demolish your counterfeiters or cargo hubs. Unfortunately, this method costs a lot of resources because of how expensive the upgrades get at higher levels.
So, if you want to save some resources, then instead of using building speed ups, I’d recommend using defense weapon speed ups to make some defense weapons.
To show you how defense weapons compare to building speed ups, let’s take a look at an example.
A level 17 counterfeiter costs over 500,000 cargo & only requires a little over 2 hours to build. On the other hand, if you choose to build 1800 firebombs at the security center, they’ll only cost you a little over 400,000 cargo & will take 10 hours to build. This means that you’ll be able to use up way more speed ups for a lower resource cost if you choose to build defense weapons instead of upgrading buildings.
So, that’s how you can make use of your defense weapon speed ups to get some rewards & extra speed up buffs in the game which you can then use to speed up other important things like troops & investments.
