In this post, I wanted to show you guys how you can select multiple units in the game. This might seem quite obvious to most of you guys. However, I only figured it out recently even though I’ve been playing the game for over 4 months so I thought at least some of you guys might find it helpful. In the game, it’s quite obvious if you want to select one or 5 units. For 1 unit, you simply tap on the image of the unit at the bottom or you can tap the unit on the map & for 5, you simply click on the select all option.
However, when it comes to selecting 2 to 4 units, it’s not that straightforward because there’s no direct way of doing it.
First, you’ll need to deselect all of your units. You can do this by tapping on the select all button twice, the first tap will select all your units & the 2nd one will deselect them.
Once you’ve done that, you need to select any empty tile on the map & tap the ‘Go’ button. Once you’ve pressed the button, you’ll be asked to select the units that you want to use. It’ll select all your units by default, so make sure you deselect the ones that you don’t want to use & then you simply press go.
After doing this you’ll be able to control all of the units that you’ve selected at the same time. You’ll also be able to control units individually without losing the selection as long as you’re dragging them & not tapping on them.
Tapping on a unit or on the select all button will cause you to lose your selection as it’ll either select the unit that you tapped on or it’ll select all of your units if you pressed select all.
This type of selection can be very useful while charging officer skills for your artillery. Instead of attacking ravens with all your troops, you can choose to select only your artillery so you don’t end up killing the ravens that you’re attacking while charging officer skills.
You can also use this while moving your base if you only want to select your units & not your command truck.
