Fishing Trip Event – Mafia City

In this post, I’m gonna be explaining how the fishing trip event works. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:

This event is just like the last fishing event where you’re required to catch 20 different types of fish to get rewards. However, it seems like this event is going to be a permanent one since there are 6 different fishing locations now & only one is available currently. I’m guessing they’ll add the remaining 6 in the future updates.

You can get a Colorful Jellyfish fragment by collecting all 20 different types of fish & once you collect 6 of those fragments, you’ll be able to redeem a permanent Colorful Jellyfish Turf Effect.

The way this event works is similar to the last fishing event. You pull your fishing rod once the button starts glowing. Then you’re required to stay inside of the blue bar by constantly tapping the button until the fish is caught.

If you catch a new fish, it gets added to your collection. While if you catch a fish you’ve already caught, then you get fish points which you can use at the fish shop to exchange for items.

There’s also a small chance of you getting a subspecies of certain fish which can give you way more fishing coins than usual.

So, that’s pretty much how the fishing event works.
