Before I begin this post, I’d like to know if city 2 is in your migration group. If it is, then let me know in the comments down below. We’ve been making a list for all the migration groups in the game on the unofficial mafia city discord server however, we haven’t been able to find a single migration group with city 2 in it. Someone from the discord group even spoke to a player in city 2 & he told us that there’s no migration event in city 2, which means neither can anyone join city 2, nor can anyone move out of city 2. So, if you have city 2 in your migration group or if you have a mansion 16 or higher account in city 2, let me know in the comments down below. In this post I’m gonna be explaining how the Carnival Celebration Event works. You can either watch this video or continue reading this post:
The Carnival Event requires you to reinforce floats to get points for your clan. In order to build a float, you need to collect 3 different items. You need masks that you can get by trading at the black market, attacking street forces & by gathering resources. You need fireworks that you easily get by fingering the shirtless guy that shows up on your turf. And you also need Float Materials that you can get by raiding circuses on the map.
Once your clan has enough materials, the R4s or R5 can place a float on the map. A float is just like a nightclub but it only lasts for 2 hours, it can be reinforced & it can also be attacked by other clans. So make sure it’s well protected. You also get carnival boxes for reinforcing these floats just like you get jewelry boxes for reinforcing nightclubs. The more troops you send to reinforces these floats, the faster you get these boxes. However, you can only get upto 50 boxes per day.
Also the the speed at which your clan gains points depends upon the number of floats occupied by the clan at the same time. The number of troops you send to occupy the floats is irrelevant for calculating your clan’s score. As far as scoring points for this event is concerned, I’m not sure what the best strategy is. In our clan, we tried placing all 6 floats at the same time on day one & we also tried placing 3 floats at a time day 2 but we almost got the same score on both days.
Also, keep in mind that you can not place floats during the last 2 hours of this event so make sure you place all your 6 floats before that.
The rewards for this event are quiet terrible in my opinion. You only get 1 silver point, 120 godfather coins & a bunch of other stuff for finishing 1st in this event. So, in my opinion it’s not worth spending too much gold on this event if your clan is not very active. However, if you’re in an active clan you should definitely participate in this event because the rewards that you get from placing & reinforcing floats are not that bad.
